From Linda Evangelista to Coco Rocha and Daria Warboy, Canada is proud of some of the most beautiful faces around!  In honor of Canada's 151st, our top beauties who took the international runway by storm rose to our top through.

1.Shalum Harlow

  Shallum Harlow ruled the modeling world in the early 1990s, when he landed jigs in commercials for Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Jill Sander, and Versace.  He made a smooth transition to Hollywood when he directed Amber Valita as well as "MTV's House of Style" and appeared in the movies "In and Out" and "How to Lose a Boy in 10 Days".

2.Jessica Stam

After being discovered by her agent at a Tim Horton’s, Stam moved to New York in order to pursue modelling full time. There, the high fashion stunner was plucked from the thousands of faces by famed fashion photographer Steven Meisel, who took her under his wing and began shooting her for high fashion campaigns such as Versace and Prada.

3.Yasmin Warsame

After moving from Somalia to Canada at the age of 15, the eye-catching Yasmin Warsame was discovered in 1997 while riding the subway in Toronto. In 2002, Warsame moved to Paris where Steven Meisel photographed her for a feature in Italian Vogue and launched her international career.

4.Andi Muise

North Bay native Andi Muise rose to fame in the fashion world when she began booking campaigns for top brands such as FCUK, Urban Outfitters, and Emporio Armani. Her biggest moment on the runway came when she walked the 10th anniversary of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

5.Stacey McKenzie

The Kingston, Jamaica-born, Toronto-raised Stacie McKenzie is hard to miss! After being rejected for her distinctive look in Toronto and New York markets, McKenzie moved to Paris where she modelled for designers Jean-Paul Gaultier, Benetton, Thierry Mugler and Christian Lacroix. McKenzie has also appeared on the covers of Essence, Le Monde and nabbed editorials in international editions of Vogue magazine.

6.Tasha Tilberg

After joining the ranks of Milla Jovovich and Petra Nemcova at NEXT Model Management, Tasha Tilberg quickly began appearing in ads for luxury labels such as Versace, Bloomingdale’s and Fendi, just to name a few.

7.Linda Evangelista

Born in St. Catherines, Ontario, Linda Evangelista was part of the original "Trinity” of '90s supermodels that included best friends Cindy Crawford, Claudia Schiffer and Naomi Campbell.

After being discovered at 13, the Canadian beauty rose to fame, making countless appearances on the biggest runways and most prolific fashion publications worldwide. In 1990, he famously told Vogue magazine: "We don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day.”

8.Coco Rocha

After solidifying her supermodel status with an unforgettable Irish jig down Jean Paul Gaultier’s runway back in 2007, Coco Rocha has easily gone on to establish herself as one the most sought after models in the game. The B.C.-native is now working on building her empire, having appeared as a judge of “The Face” and launching her own clothing label.

9.Daria Werbowy

The Polish-born, Mississauga-raised Daria Werbowy was the fashion industry’s go-to cool girl since the early 2000s. She has since modelled for prestigious fashion labels such as Chanel, Armani, and reaching new heights when she signed a major contract with Lancome in April of 2005.

In 2008, Werbowy was awarded a star on “Canada’s Walk of Fame”, making her one of only two models among the select group of Canadians.

10.Heather Marks

Calgary, Alberta native Heather Marks began her journey up the ranks of the modelling world when she won her hometown’s Mode Model’s Model Search at the age of 12. Since then, the blonde bombshell has walked alongside the likes of Gisele Bundchen and Adriana Lima on the Victoria’s Secret runway, and has starred in campaigns for Calvin Klein and Dolce and Gabbana.
